Stephen L. Hightower II is an influential leader in the energy sector, serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Hightowers Petroleum Company, one of North America's largest independent wholesale fuel distribution businesses. Under his leadership, the company has doubled its sales, supplying over 250 million gallons of fuel annually across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. He spearheads strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and business alignment efforts to ensure long-term growth and innovation.
Stephen is a strong advocate for energy transformation and sustainability, leading initiatives in renewable diesel, hydrogen, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) programs. His expertise extends beyond corporate leadership to nonprofit engagement and government relations, where he has been instrumental in driving community-focused initiatives.
Passionate about giving back, Stephen chairs the Robert “Sonny” Hill Community Center Revitalization Project, transforming the facility into a vital resource for youth and families. He also leads the Atrium Medical Center HEAL program, supporting families coping with child loss. His commitment to mentorship includes sponsoring area teens in the YMCA Youth in Government program at the Ohio Statehouse.
